Dave puts his knowledge, creativity and other talents to use to provide quality programming and expert consultation on the integration of new media and technology. Dave attended West Bloomfield High School and Grand Valley State University. Prior to the formation of GLM Media and Motown Digital, Dave was the Director of Digital Technology at CBS Radio/Detroit, Director of Web Hosting Services for Lansing Michigan based Voyager Internet, and co-founder of Freeway Inc, a Northern Michigan based Internet access and web development company. Dave first registered domains for a number of Michigan’s top well known brands. Dave started his career in radio broadcasting entertaining listeners on Detroit radio stations WCSX, WLLZ, WMJC, WDRQ, and others. In 2001 he founded the Michigan Talk Radio Network which is now operated by WJR’s parent company Citadel Broadcasting. He lives in Farmington Hills Michigan and loves flying. When not in the studio, he can generally be found at one of the local airports engaged in aviation activities or better yet thousands of feet above Michigan enjoying the incredible beauty and splendor of the great lakes state.

Serial optimist, problem solver and can-doer. If you ask my friends and family, they would tell you that I’m always a little ‘extra’ and everything I do has to have its own ‘Stacy’ flare. I have never once followed a recipe as it is written. I consider myself an expert in trips to Target, Venti Triple Cinnamon Dolce Latte’s, toddler speak and first grader hip hop moves. When I am not slinging virtual solutions at GLM you can usually find me hanging with my family – Husband Tyler, two kids Eleanor and Jack (The #Yerbkins) and our rescue pup, Yeti.

Nerd, geek, or whatever, I’m always looking to sharpen my mad scientist skills! I live quietly with my wife of 8 years Kim, stepson Dalton and super dog Tucker. I have 2 adult children and one precious granddaughter. I love spaceflight, reading, music, good backups and I hate snow shovels, hard drive failure, and staring into the abyss.

Just a typical family man. Love spending time with my wife of 17 years while we raise our 3 cool boys …. which involves a lot of driving to different after-school activities. I graduated from Adrian College with a double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies but have been working in Search Engine Optimization for Gaslight Media since its inception. Things I enjoy include sports (mostly as a spectator these days), music and cultural activities, and good food.

A self-proclaimed rockstar. I’m definitely on a list somewhere for the number times I’ve watched the Ted Bundy documentary. Aspiring cat condo carpenter. I spend most of my time exploring new tech, watching MMA fights, finding new music, giving my cats piggyback rides and gracing my girlfriend with humor of the utmost maturity.

My focus at Gaslight Media primarily involves building and maintaining plugins using PHP, javascript and popular tools like React and Redux.

Resident of bustling Wolverine, MI, Laury was born in the Netherlands, and while his innate predisposition for creating polders and dikes may be ill-suited to the area, he contentedly enjoys the geeky side of life; from astronomy, to physics, to robotics, to game development, to fascination with cosmic horror, the darker pockets of the psyche, and the folly and potential of our kind and its works.

Laury engages mad skills as a front-end developer, incorporating solid CSS structure within GLM theme creations and is also responsible for tackling complex e-commerce website requests from clients that like to ‘think outside the box’.

I’m a self published poet, writer, trading card/board gamer, volunteer, and role model. I have a form of Autism called Asperger’s Syndrome, which makes me a bit weird and awkward at times. Also because I’m on the Spectrum I strive to be a positive role model for the younger people on the spectrum and give parents hope that their children can be far more than what some experts say the can only be. 

The bulk of what I do at Gaslight Media is tests sites for issues before and after they are on display for the world to see and do miscellaneous web tasks.
